Who we are

Mack is operated for the Mack product at mack.golf. Questions about privacy or your data: hello@mack.golf.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Mack, we may process:

• Account. Email address and authentication data (password credentials or sign-in provider tokens when those paths are enabled).
• Profile and goals. Things you set in the app: personal par, club distances, your focus, and preferences (for example distance units or keep-screen-on).
• Rounds and practice. Scores, putts, penalties, course/tee choices, reflections, practice session results, and related notes you enter.
• Learning progress. Which lessons you start and finish.
• Coach memory. Structured facts and short summaries we keep so the coach can remember what you are working on across rounds and sessions. You can delete some facts from “What Mack knows” in the app.
• Feedback and waitlist. Messages you send through in-app feedback, and emails you leave on the marketing waitlist.
• Device and product telemetry. Data needed to run the app and purchases/entitlements (for example through RevenueCat when billing is enabled), plus crash or error reports if we enable them. Local offline storage may hold rounds and sessions on your device until they sync.
• Course lookup. Search queries and course data when you look up a course through our course data provider.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the app (account, sync, screens, content).
• Build strategy cards, debriefs, home notes, and related coach features from your profile and history.
• Respond to feedback and run the beta waitlist.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
• Process subscriptions and entitlements when paid features go live.

AI features

Some Season Pass / coach features send content you provide (and related profile or round context) to third-party AI providers so we can generate debrief letters, home notes, memory summaries, and similar text. We do this to run the product, not to sell your data. Model providers process that content under their terms as our processors. Full prompt and model transcripts are not kept as a default production practice.

Who we share with

We use service providers to host the app and API, store the database, send transactional or admin email, process purchases (when enabled), look up course data, and run AI jobs. They get only what they need to do that work.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent your email list. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Retention

We keep account and activity data while your account is active and as needed to operate the product. Offline copies live on your device until you clear app data or uninstall. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove or anonymize personal data we control, subject to legal retention needs. In-app account deletion for self-serve purge is planned; until then, email hello@mack.golf and we will handle it manually.

Your choices

• Update profile, distances, and focus in the app.
• Delete certain coach memory facts from “What Mack knows” where the app allows it.
• Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account data.
• Stop using the waitlist or the app at any time.

Children

Mack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International users

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you use Mack from elsewhere, you understand that transfer.

Changes

We will update this page when the product or our practices change in a material way. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
